The chairmanship of the NATO / NAMSA Working Group formed
under the structure of the Turkish Defense Industry Manufacturers
Association (SASAD) with the aim of increasing the participation of
the Turkish Defense Industry to the NATO projects is being executed
by our company’s partner, Mrs. Nuray Karalar. On the date of 16 March
2006, with the joint organization of the Defense Industry Undersecretariat and SASAD, the committee
comprised of the high level executives from 19 Turkish Defense
Industry Firms, with the chairmanship of our Defense Industry
Undersecretary Mr. Murad BAYAR, has
received a briefing from the NAMSA authorities regarding the
potential projects in the NAMSA (NATO Maintenance and Supply Agency)
located in Luxembourg and NAMSA was kept informed concerning
the capabilities of the Turkish firms. It is aimed that the Turkish
manufacturer companies from Turkey, having a high
material contribution to NATO, are invited to and succeed in the
projects at a higher rate.
